Chief Operating Officer
Jeff has worked over 20 years in the non-profit, social service, and education fields with a focus on leading and supporting change initiatives to strengthen organizations and the critical services they provide. Having grown up on the east coast, he fell in love with California as an AmeriCorps VISTA working with the California Conservation Corps in the heart of the redwoods in Del Norte County. After moving to San Francisco and briefly teaching high school mathematics, he spent 12 years at Edgewood Center for Children and Families learning the inner workings of a non-profit and the complexity of our public education, social service, and mental health systems. Jeff continued this work as a consultant with other non-profits and the SFUSD’s Special Education Department while also spending more time with his daughter and getting involved in public education as a parent. Although pretrial services and criminal justice are new to Jeff, he brings his non-profit passion and east coast humor to SFPDP. Outside of work, you’ll find him riding up Mt Tams or spending quality time with his family.
